The Courtyard, Elephant & Castle

A spacious, open-air courtyard designed to sit at the centre of an event’s flow, this 400-capacity space works as both a social hub and a transitional setting. It can be positioned as the first and last touchpoint for guests before moving deeper into the venue, or as a standalone space for events.

The layout is flexible and easy to shape, with a built-in bar anchoring the space and plenty of room for street food setups or informal seating. A retractable canopy stretches overhead, allowing the environment to shift between open-air and covered depending on the weather, while integrated rigging gives full control over lighting and atmosphere as day turns into night.

The feel is relaxed but considered- ideal for breakout moments, or simply stepping out of the main event space. Whether used independently or as an extension, it offers a natural pause point where guests can gather, reset, and reconnect without losing momentum.
