Black Box is our fully black blackout studio space. The space can be blacked out with our serge wool drapes, but also has large warehouse windows for great daylight shoots!
Studio 1 is uniquely presented as an industrially themed space which is ideal for video/film shoots scaled stills photography, rehearsals and pre-production run-throughs. Moreover, the studio space would also be great as a gallery space (courtesy of the natural light); or as a lecture space, meeting room, License dance/fitness area, and course for any event, on a dry hire basis.
This is our blacked out studio, absolutely no natural light with a modern edge. Perfect for video shoots, set building, product and pack shoots. Furniture and fittings are as a set of chaise lounge's chairs and quirky sofas are a unique feature of Studio 2. An integrated gloss black wall and modern light as standard.

Studio 3 benefits from a large exposed red brick wall alongside a white breeze block wall too.

The Studio is a photographic studio in East London, the heart of the Art community of London with a unique design and great access. You can use the space in any way that you need for your project. From White daylight cyclorama to full pitch-black Blackout stage in a matter of seconds! A few minutes after you can have the 14m U-shape Green Screen up at lit! Fancy adding a Car or Motorcycle to your scene?
The blackout stage is a 3,500sqft ground floor film studio which benefits from an eaves height of 6.2m increasing up to 7m at the highest point. There are also 6m high x 3.5m wide shutters giving direct access onto the blackout stage for vehicles and loading.
This smart studio space is in a bohemian area of South East London with the White Cube gallery and Fashion and Textile Museum nearby.
Our large open space with beautiful sky lights provides our venue with great natural lighting! Studio 17 at Excelsior has been up and running for several years - it sits somewhere between a large studio/rehearsal room and a full production space and can be used as either. It is equipped with sound and lighting facilities, a kitchen, changing rooms, showers and toilets and is often used for dance, yoga and training classes, film and photography.
The bar/restaurant is situated on Stoke Newington High Street within a parade of shops and surrounded by a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Sound stage is a n brand new 1,270 sqft / 118m2 soundproof infinity cove studio with ground floor access. The studio has a large U-shape infinity cove, 9.2m wide and 4m high. The left wall of the cove is 4.2m wide and the right wall is 6.2m wide, giving great depth for shooting.
The studio 1 is our 1,677sqft / 156m2 infinity cove space with ground floor drive-in access. The L-shape infinity cove is a great size at 8m x 8m wide and 3.5m high. The floor is levelled, giving a 10m x 11m shooting area, great for larger shoots and set builds.
Canvas One is a flexible and private small event space, perfect for those smaller events with any budget. The venue consists of one open blank canvas space, a green room, a private covered courtyard, a rear outdoor space and a rooftop terrace. The venue is off the main street with a main gate that can be closed to provide you with privacy and security. This is a great space, in a great location.
