Loft Studio Courtyard is a private outdoor space tucked within the industrial setting of Loft Studios in Kensal Green. Enclosed by high brick walls and framed by tall, multi-pane industrial windows and an external metal staircase, the courtyard has a distinctly urban character while offering a change of atmosphere from the surrounding indoor studios. Simple paving keeps the floor open and adaptable, with a painted white brick wall providing a clean visual backdrop. A roof covering approximately three-quarters of the space, incorporating clear and diffused sections, brings in soft overhead daylight.

The courtyard is well suited to outdoor receptions, drinks areas, informal gatherings and breakout space during larger events. Its south-facing shooting area benefits from abundant natural light, making it useful for photography and filming as well as guest-facing occasions. The white brick wall can be used as a backdrop, with additional Colorama backdrops and flats available on request. A PA system and speakers are provided, and organisers can play their own music or bring an external DJ. Wi-Fi, step-free guest access and accessible toilets add practical convenience, while the paved central area can be adapted for a temporary dancefloor.

With capacity for up to 200 standing guests, the courtyard can work as a venue in its own right or as an outdoor extension to a larger event. Its direct connection to Studios 4 and 5 allows organisers to create a joined-up experience across indoor and outdoor areas, whether that means using the courtyard for arrivals, drinks and socialising or as an additional production setting. Lighting and camera equipment hire, catering and set building are available in-house, and other studios within the wider Loft Studios complex can provide additional space for styling, dining and client facilities.
