Loft Studio 3, Kensal Green

Loft Studio 3 is an intimate, industrial-style creative space within Loft Studios in Kensal Green. Large south-facing arched windows bring daylight into the room, highlighting the contrast between exposed brickwork, white-painted brick walls and a polished concrete floor. Its pared-back finish and practical proportions create a flexible blank canvas, suited to photography, film and product shoots as well as workshops, smaller receptions and informal gatherings that benefit from a space with character without an overly finished aesthetic.

A built-in white cyclorama cove provides a seamless backdrop for photography and filming, while the studio’s open central area can be adapted for different layouts or used as a dancefloor. A PA system and speakers are installed, and guests can play their own music or bring a DJ, giving the room scope to transition from a working studio into a more social setting. Practical additions include Wi-Fi, a kitchenette with a sink and fridge, wall mirrors and casual seating. The studio also offers step-free access and accessible toilets, adding convenience for guests and production teams.

With capacity for up to 60 standing guests, Studio 3 is well suited to smaller-scale creative projects and gatherings where flexibility is more important than a large footprint. Its position beneath Studio 2 and direct connection to the adjoining Studio Daylight space offer potential to expand the available footprint when a brief calls for separate production and guest areas. Studio 3 is one of five indoor spaces within the wider Loft Studios complex, alongside a courtyard venue, with multiple areas available to combine for larger productions and events.
