The Archive Yard, Tottenham

Located in Tottenham Hale, The Archive Yard transforms a working warehouse courtyard into a characterful open-air event space. Rooted in its industrial surroundings, the venue builds atmosphere through texture, colour, and clever use of structure rather than heavy design.

Shipping containers line the perimeter, creating almost an architectural frame for the space. Overhead, a canopy stretches across the yard, threaded with warm festoon lighting that softens the industrial edges. As daylight fades, the surrounding walls shift into technicolour hues, adding a more playful, visual dimension that contrasts with the raw materials.

The layout is informal but intentional. Wooden picnic benches are scattered throughout, encouraging small group moments, while open areas remain clear for dancing or installations. A centrally positioned outdoor bar and DJ booth anchor the space, with power points integrated for production and performance setups.

The result is a venue that feels both functional and atmospheric, equally suited to filming, street food markets, or laid-back summer parties.
