Silly Towers Arch, Brixton

Tucked beneath the railway lines in Brixton, Silly Towers Arch is a raw, industrial space built for making, testing, and performing. Set within a working railway arch, the environment carries a distinctly unpolished edge- trains pass overhead, adding to the rhythm and texture of the space rather than interrupting it.

Compact but highly adaptable, the room centres around a simple, open floor with vaulted ceilings that enhance both acoustics and atmosphere. Wooden flooring and exposed structural elements give it a stripped-back, utilitarian feel, while integrated features- a small bar, PA system, and flexible lighting- allow it to shift easily between rehearsal studio and live event setup.

The layout is intentionally unfussy, encouraging experimentation and reconfiguration. Whether used for performances, workshops, or creative builds, the space supports hands-on use- more about process than presentation, with enough infrastructure to host audiences when needed.
