The Venue is a 1930s art deco Grade II listed venue in East London. Originally opened as a luxury cinema, the venue has since been a theatre, bingo hall and now one of London's best venues for a mix of events, from awards ceremonies, to fashion shows, indoor sports, conferences and gala dinners. Retaining many of the original features, the venue is nothing but unique and even features its own origional Wurlitzer organ- the largest of its kind in Europe.

The Venue is London’s Opulent Art-Deco Events Space. With its exquisite neo-classical façade, marble entrance halls and listed features The Venueis ideally located between the West End and The City.

Originating as the ship’s engine room, the Courtroom was converted into a Livery Hall. It boasts double-height ceilings making for an impressive, atmospheric dining space. Floor-to-ceiling teak-clad walls surround you and elevate the space making it perfect to cater to a formal social event or professional conference. Enter the Courtroom via a grand ornate teak-divided staircase from the heart of the ship. The room is fully equipped with in-built AV equipment and Air Conditioning

The spectacular 459m2 Main Hall is the ideal events venue for a wide range of occasions. These include charity galas, weddings, concerts, conferences, balls and more. There’s room for 400 seated with a dancefloor or 630 standing in the Main Hall and we are able to partition the space for smaller groups.

The Clarence Hall is a distinctive and versatile event space suited to weddings, performances, private celebrations, screenings, and corporate events. The room’s striking vaulted roof structure and contemporary finish give the space a unique character.

Positioned on the ground floor, the hall feels self-contained and accessible, with a layout that lends itself to both formal and flexible setups. The interiors are defined by warm wooden elements- polished flooring, a timber stage, and classic detailing- creating a refined, timeless atmosphere that works particularly well for smaller-scale events requiring a sense of occasion.The space balances heritage with practicality.

The larger of the two halls is located on the first floor of the venue. The hall offers capacity for up to 400 guests in banqueting style seating and up to 1000 guests in conference style (with theatre seats at the top). Inside the hall, there is a bar area, timber stage and elegant wooden elements such as flooring, making this space elegant and timeless canvas ideal for a variety of events.
