A landmark 1930s cinema in East London, this Grade II listed venue is defined by its scale, symmetry, and preserved Art Deco detailing. Originally one of England’s largest cinemas, the building has evolved over decades into a large-format event space, while retaining the grandeur of its original design.

The interiors are unapologetically cinematic. Sweeping staircases, illuminated architectural features, and a vast, pillar-free main hall create a sense of drama from the moment of entry. The space is expansive yet structured, with a flat floor that can be fully reconfigured, complemented by a tiered balcony that adds depth and perspective for larger audiences.

At its centre sits a fully restored Wurlitzer organ- a rare feature that reinforces the venue’s heritage and offers a unique focal point for performances and special events. Surrounding this, modern production infrastructure has been seamlessly integrated, including a high-powered JBL VTX sound system, advanced lighting, and in-house technical support.

The venue is built to operate at scale, with extensive backstage areas, production offices, and step-free access for efficient load-ins. Despite its size, the design retains a sense of cohesion, allowing it to host everything from large conferences and awards ceremonies to immersive brand takeovers and live performances.
