The Wellington Open Deck

Crowned at the top of the vessel, The Wellington Open Deck is a vast open-air event space offering sweeping panoramic views across the Thames and Southbank skyline. Elevated above the river, the deck captures the movement of the city- boats passing below, sunset light reflecting off the water, and London’s landmarks unfolding in every direction.

The space combines scale with flexibility, featuring a wide, open layout that can be easily adapted for large social gatherings, receptions, and dining events. A covered section with an integrated awning and heating allows for year-round use, balancing the feel of an outdoor setting with the comfort of a sheltered environment.

The atmosphere shifts naturally throughout the day, making it particularly well-suited to events that evolve from relaxed daytime gatherings into lively evening celebrations. With a minimal structure, the deck acts as a blank canvas ready to be styled and customised to suit each event.

Positioned as part of the wider Wellington vessel, the space also connects to a range of additional indoor areas, offering further flexibility for multi-format events.
