The Glasshouse, Angel

The Glasshouse is a versatile ground-floor event space set within a characterful former industrial warehouse in Angel. Its rectangular layout is framed by a wall of glass windows overlooking the adjoining Courtyard, creating a visual connection between the two rooms. With its built-in stage, integrated lighting rig and club-ready sound system, The Glasshouse is equipped for everything from live performances and promoted events to brand launches, fashion shows, exhibitions and private celebrations.

The room’s adaptable layout makes it particularly useful for events that need to move between different formats. It can be arranged for standing receptions, seated dinners, cabaret-style gatherings or theatre-style presentations, while larger projections and LED screens can be introduced for screenings, showcases and presentations. The built-in stage and production facilities also make it a natural fit for live music, after-parties and performance-led events. Its connection to the Courtyard adds another dimension: the adjoining room, with its distinctive glass atrium ceiling, can serve as a reception and bar area, leaving The Glasshouse free for the main programme.

The Glasshouse forms part of a substantial multi-level warehouse venue comprising eight individual spaces across five floors, with more than 30,000 sq ft of event and club space in total. Each room has its own character and facilities, allowing organisers to hire a single space, combine several rooms or take over the entire complex for a larger-scale event. The wider venue has a late licence until 6am daily, with four dedicated club spaces featuring professional sound and lighting systems.
