The First Floor, Notting Hill

Set beneath a characterful four-floor venue in Notting Hill, The First Floor offers an intimate, production-ready setting for music events, private parties and creative launches. Formerly part of an iconic West London events institute, the building has an established identity rooted in West London’s creative scene, with interiors that balance raw architectural character and a more considered, atmospheric finish. Each floor has its own personality, and the venue can be hired by the space or exclusively as a complete building, giving organisers flexibility over the scale and format of their event. The room’s natural light is complemented by a raised seating area, adding depth and creating a subtle division within the open layout. This feature gives the space a more defined sense of occasion without limiting how it can be used. During the day, the room lends itself to product showcases, interviews, press previews and creative workshops; as the light changes, it can be reconfigured for an evening reception or private event with a more considered lighting scheme. 

The First Floor is available for individual dry hire, with the option to hire Number 10 in its entirety across all four floors. This offers the flexibility to create a larger event with different experiences across the building, from daytime brand activity upstairs to dining on the ground floor or live programming in the basement. The venue team can assist with event management and introductions to trusted suppliers, helping bring together the catering, production and styling required for each brief.
