Fordham Gallery Barge

The Fordham Gallery is a 60ft floating canal barge reimagined as a travelling cultural space, blending exhibition, event, and creative studio into one adaptable venue. Originally a retail space in East London, it has been transformed into a purpose-built gallery that now moves through the city’s waterways.

Inside, the barge is defined by warm wooden finishes and a clean, pared-back interior, creating a calm and intimate environment that can be easily customised. The layout lends itself to a wide range of uses, from contemporary art exhibitions and workshops to private events, screenings, and performances.

As a mobile venue, the barge regularly docks across some of East London’s most creative neighbourhoods, including King’s Cross, Victoria Park, and Broadway Market, placing events directly within the city’s cultural flow.
