Welcome to Moetry - being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else. A night brought together by its Creative Founder Mohammad Conteh and his three like minded Creative Directors Monica Rose and Gabriel Alozie. Our philosophy is extraordinarily special; Life is poetry, and the poets are the ones who mark the observation down on paper with words. They are the wordsmiths who capture the essence of life its self, to simply relay this message back to the human race in there own interpretation. Our concept is simple, literary work in which the expression of feelings and ideas is given intensity by the use of distinctive style and rhythm; poems collectively or as a genre of literature. Which we the panel then select patiently & rigorously according to the theme of the evenings events to put on display for the publics enjoyment. Our Uniqueness is what what's us beautiful and empowers us all. Our aim is to put on a night that you will nver forget, where spoken words poets from all walks & ways of life can perform. Where we infuse life experiences with cultural differences, intensity of emotion regarded as characteristic of poems. All topped off with a musical quality of beauty.
