The Basement, Dalston

Tucked beneath Stoke Newington Road, Bar A Bar is a 200-capacity basement venue with a raw, intimate underground feel. Designed around the dancefloor, the space combines a powerful Martin Audio sound system with a recently upgraded lighting setup, creating an immersive environment for music-led events.

At its centre sits a bespoke, hand-painted DJ booth, adding character and a unique visual identity to the room. Around the space, you'll also find relaxed sofa areas which offer space to socialise without losing connection to the energy of the night.

The venue’s flexible layout allows for full creative control, making it easy to transform the space to suit your event, whether that’s a stripped-back club night, a fully dressed production, or something more experimental.
